El Puig: Historical and Mediterranean

Sheltered by orchard landscapes and a four kilometre coastline of warm waters and golden sandbanks, history and leisure merge in Puig de Santa María. Strolling through its streets takes you to the reconquest of Jaume I, and the Via Augusta, the longest Roman road in the Peninsula. You will also find what remains of its walls, such as the Guaita Tower. Likewise, legends and religion converge on the Grail Route, an itinerary that will take you to the Santa María del Puig Royal Monastery, which houses the Museum of Printing and Graphic Arts, and the Ara Christi Charterhouse (Asset of Cultural Interest).
